RealIntimacy is one of the few private dating sites where discretion is a default - not a paid upgrade. This page explains exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can erase it in one click.

What Data We Collect
RealIntimacy collects the minimum data required to run a safe, private dating community. Account creation needs only an email address - photos, location precision, and bio details are entirely optional. A working email and a freely chosen username are all that separate you from your first match.
Specifically, we store the following categories of information:
- Account data: email, hashed password, username, age, country, and city (city precision is your choice - you can blur to region-level).
- Optional profile data: photos, bio prompts, gender, orientation, and lifestyle filters that you voluntarily add.
- Communication data: messages between members, retained encrypted for safety review; deleted when you remove your account.
- Technical data: IP address, device type, browser version, and approximate location derived from IP for fraud prevention.
- Billing data: handled exclusively by PCI-DSS-compliant payment processors. We never see or store your card number.
Plain-English summary
Email plus a username is mandatory. Everything else is optional. We never ask for your legal name, and we never display your photos in Google search results.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data only to operate the platform, keep members safe, and improve match quality. We do not sell personal data, do not share it with advertisers, and do not build hidden profiles for third parties. Period.
- Matching and search: filters (age, distance, orientation, lifestyle) run against your profile to surface compatible members.
- Safety: AI moderation scans messages and photos for harassment, slurs, and non-consensual nudity before content lands in another member's inbox.
- Service emails: account confirmations, security alerts, and optional match notifications. You can disable non-essential email from your privacy menu at any time.
- Aggregated analytics: anonymised counts (active users, response rates) used to improve the product. Never tied back to identifiable members.
Cookies and Tracking
RealIntimacy uses a short list of cookies - most of them essential. We do not run third-party advertising trackers, and we do not allow social-media pixels on member-facing pages. Discretion is structural, not theatrical.

AI Moderation and Image Scanning
Our AI-powered nudity moderation automatically detects and filters explicit imagery in profile photos and live chats, supporting a respectful environment. Images flagged as explicit are blurred by default; recipients can choose to unblur in private chats with mutual consent. This combination of automated detection and member choice is what keeps the platform warm without becoming intrusive.
Concretely, here is what the moderation pipeline does and does not do:
- It does scan images and messages in real time for nudity, slurs, threats, and non-consensual content.
- It does hold flagged content for human review when context is ambiguous.
- It does not permanently store the contents of your private chats once both parties delete them.
- It does not share moderation training data with third parties or use member photos for external model training.

How to Delete Your Account in One Click
For registration we only need an email; photos are optional. You can opt out of email notifications from your privacy menu, and you can delete your account in a single click - all data is erased instantly. No retention call, no waiting period, no dark patterns. Here is the exact path:

Tap your avatar in the top-right corner and choose Account. The Privacy section sits at the top.

A single confirmation appears. We do not bury this button under sub-menus and we never run a retention flow.

Confirm and walk away
Your profile, photos, message history, and billing record are permanently erased within seconds. A short anonymised audit log is retained only for legal compliance (typically 30 days).
